Hey!
I'm a Chinese student who want to apply to RU,but i can hardly find anything useful on the Internet and now I need your heip. Please tell me something about RU,about it's acdemics and reputation.
Thanks for your help again!

Rutgers-NB is a very well-respected university. It’s ranked about #65 - which is very good for a public institution (since public institutions try to take a variety of their state’s students, it’s hard for them to compete with ivies and elite privates for top rankings)

For non-residents, it has a Cost of Attendance (COA) of about $38k a year. I don’t think it gives any aid to international students. Others can correct me if I’m mistaken.

Are you a senior or junior?

How much can you afford to spend?

What are your stats?

Here are their mid 50’s range

Test Scores Middle 50% of First-Year Students

SAT Critical Reading: 530 - 630
SAT Math: 560 - 680
SAT Writing: 540 - 640

thanks a lot to mom2collegekids!

Thanks again.

Wait…Have you applied yet?

Does Rutgers accept Int’l student applications after Dec 1st?

[Rutgers | Rutgers Admissions](http://admissions.rutgers.edu/ApplyNow/ApplicationsAndTheBasics/WhenToApply.aspx)

Since you have a budget of $50k per year, it’s probably a good idea to target schools within the $35k-40k range since prices go up each year, plus you’ll need money for travel and some pocket money! :)

What is your intended major?

Where else are you applying?

well… not yet…

i don’t know, the date prociede on that website is just for priority application so i guess it’s a rolling school

my intended major may be psychology or international relation or economics…

i’ve applied to Brandeis U,Wake Forest U,Boston U,University of Rochester,PSU,University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and Purdue U.
