flong... yikes that sounds like a bummer! ah, the perk of having an old beat-up car that doesn't matter if it gets hit... then again i've never hit someone else... or punched my car o.O

and i found out about UCLA during a week when i was kind of depressed... and found out the guy i'd liked for 2 years didn't like me back "that way"... and was really stressed about my calc grade after getting three low D's on tests... so your letter might actually MAKE your week not break it! :D

and of COURSE i changed my post...
my mind has been making me type things that i'm not even conscious of. like i'll think of one entire PHRASE and type another.
honestly, do you want my finals-week errors to follow me throughout this thread? c'mon... be compassionate :)

Twon looks like a match, although it would help if you put your UC GPA, since I doubt a weighted UC GPA could be that high in light of your unweighted.

Cjue, you might be a slight reach, but ELC is going to definitely help you. UC policy is that APs don't affect their comprehensive review, but at least you took some JC classes.

CameronK, you look like a match, but the SAT scores are a bit low. Regardless, your GPA and rather...large list of EC's would likely round out your application.

MasterMike, your application is a reach. The GPA (I'm assuming that's a 3.7~3.8 on UC scale) and SAT scores are the main issues, although the biggest problem would be the OOS status. Still, this school isn't out of reach, depending on how you might have emphasized in your essays your passion for Computer Science and how that might have resonated with admissions officers.

Hmm, our registrar told us that if you have more than a certain amount of credits from a JC, you won't be considered as a freshman applicant oO:;

Anyways, it's going to be a slight reach since your SAT is 33 pts below average and your GPA is .2 below a realistically competitive one. Right now, the only thing I would imagine would be your best shot at getting in are your essays and those awards you got.

yeah i think my mom and i made sure that i didn't go over... in fact... i think 13 was the maximum... i think that my college credits have really been boosting my admissions so far
