Want to major in Bioengineering. Which & how many of the Subject test should I take?

So I want to major in Bioengineering when I get into university, and wanted to know which of the subject test I should take. As far as I’m aware, you can use one payment for 3 test. If that’s true, I was wondering which 3 I should take. Since I’m majoring in Bioengineering, I was thinking Biology E/M should be one of them. For the other 2, I’m thinking of doing Math 1 and Chemistry. However, my chem teacher was absolute garbage, and I didn’t learn much. Therefore, I’m not sure on Chemistry. Just wanted some feedback from you all.

I took Bio E/M (both but I did better on E) and M2. Don’t take M1 it’s really a waste of time. Worse curve and doesn’t say much about you, especially when everyone else is taking M2. My subject tests honestly sucked but I guess my colleges didn’t care too much and took me anyways LOL.

You can self study Chemistry. Physics could be a good one too if you’ve taken the class. I didn’t take physics but many of my friends did, and many of them got sub 750s despite getting 4/5s on Physics 2. Chem is probably ideal unless physics really floats your boat.

Physics, math 2, chem, molecular bio. Any of those 4 make sense.

Thanks for the advice. Will the biology portion require much hard studying? I love bio, but haven’ taken the class since freshman year (I’m taking AP Bio next year, but by then it will be too late), so my knowledge might be a little rusty. What can I expect?

@IsaacTheFuture I know tons of people who didn’t study and their freshman biology carried them to an 800. While it is an easy subject test, you should still study. Many people recommend using Barron’s to study E/M.

I guess it depends what you’ll see, my highest score was an extremely easy month and my lowest was stupid. They can ask you very specific questions (parts of the plants/function such as the anther, stigma, ovaries; parts of a trunk, such as the stele or cortex; specific biome questions; which disease is caused by failure of apoptosis?) or some very easy questions like parts of the cell. Unfortunately questions like “what is the powerhouse of the cell” won’t cut it. Take a practice test and you’ll get a feel.
