<p>It's amusing and as an essay on it's own, I like it. But for an admissions essay it's either 1) brillant or 2) tragic. There's a chance that after reading a bunch of essays in praise of the author, that the adcom would have a good sense of humor and love this essay. But there's also the chance that they would think that the author is mocking the whole essay process (which he/she is) and take offense. It's very risky. And, maybe it's just me, but I don't think it's <em>that</em> creative. It's just making fun of people who try build themselves up in the essay. It gets old after a couple of paragraphs.</p>
