want to take courses in more than 1 college

hey guys, i have a few (a lot of) questions

where would a biology major fit best? (im guessing natural resources)

why is there no “biology” major? from the choices i see on the application, there is microbial biology, molecular environmental biology, etc. but i want to study ALL aspects of bio. what up?

could i take courses in more than 1 college? i want to be a bio major, but i’m also interested in what the college of environmental design has to offer. i also want to take english and language classes

are there any course requirements? (besides the ones for your major) like do you have to take so and so number of humanity courses, etc.

im just starting to look at UC’s so if you guys have anything you think is important to say, go right ahead! btw, im in new york which apparently is a bad thing for uc admission

IB (in L&S) is the most general biology major in its requirements.

It is as specific as you choose to make it pretty much

i see it now thanks

ok sry one more question. if i were to apply undeclared, what year do i have to pick a major? yeah, and if someone could answer my previous question - if i were a biology major, could i take english courses and other courses in CNR?

yes, you can take whatever you want.

you have to have a major by your junior year. up until then, you are an “intended ______ major”
