<p>My son applied to CCAD with a less than stellar portfolio (in my opinion and having seen some of the portfolios of other kids), mediocre grades (between 3.0 and 3.25 I think), and a very average ACT score. Still, he got a fairly substantial scholarship, plus an institutional grant because of financial need.</p>
