Wanted: Help/Tips to Bump Up Math Score! Dx

<p>I feel so belittled in the face of my Asian friends and relatives getting close to perfect math scores. Apparently I don't function like a normal Asian, because unlike them, I had no problem with Crit reading and writing. But as for math...any kind of help is appreciated!</p>

<p>I haven't taken the official SAT yet, but I will on Jan. 22. But on my most recent Testmasters diagnostic test I got for math...(hangs head in shame) a 520. I'm kind of irked and embarassed at this at the same time...Again, any constructive and detailed feedback would do a world of good. Trust me. ;)</p>

<p>It is true that as a group Asians obtain a higher mean score on the math section of the SAT and Asians are over-represented in the group of test takers who get very high scores in math (over 700). However, these are statistics and while statistics can tell us a lot about a population, they tell us nothing about individuals.</p>
