Wanted: Wildly Enthusiastic Dartmouth RDers

The Dartmouth CC site is undergoing a transition as we digest the ED decisions.

Some of our most stalwart members like ajayc and pampelmoose will be turning their attention, and considerable enthusiasm, elsewhere (ajay retains all rights as an honorary member of D'12 until he transfers in and pampelmoose, we keep hope alive that you will us next year).

We now need wildly enthusuatic RDers who believe Dartmouth is "the one" to pick up where the best of the EDers have left off on CC.

We are thankful to always have folks like johnleemk, cameliasinensis, VeryHappy, sybbie719 and slipper1234 in support of us, but we need some fresh energy driving the Dartmouth CC site.

RDers --we look forward to meeting you all in the weeks ahead.

i might as well jump on the bandwagon...

count me in.

basics:
SATs 2250 GPA 4.7, probably around 7% in a grade of 760 or so

worried about my inability to commit for ED.....

OOH, OOH, PICK ME, PICK ME!!!! haha jp

I'll be a part of the D-train - go RD folks~! I didn't realize that I could apply ED to Dartmouth, since I applied Early Action to Caltech and MIT
...ah well, RD's still fun!

If I get in, I promise to post more than 10 times a day on the D board.. (Highly unlikely of this happening as I'm an international needing LOTS of cash from D)

as soon as i finish my apps, i'll have more time to post...mucho

Count me in! I will post a little more often however after I am done with the apps, since I am a little behind with some essays.

I'm in too!! I was deferred ED, but it's still my top choice!!

me. i probably won't post much though--no need to get my hopes up.

I am here till I hear no!

i'm rding. :)

It seems we will have a really nice party whatsoever!

Indian: What happened with your CalTech and MIT apps? Have you heard yet?

I thought Dartmouth's ED excluded EA also?

Does it? Someone I know applied to Dartmouth ED, and to MIT EA...

@ Veryhappy: I actually got rejected from Caltech and Deferred from MIT
- it's okay though; Dartmouth was always one of my top choices...

So, question, what's the procedure for mailing supplemental stuff (like abstracts, other recs, other essays, etc)?

Uh -- you put them in an envelope, attach postage, put the address on it, and put it in a mailbox.

What am I missing?

Don't really fit the category, but (most likely) an enthusiastic EDer for next year!

Wow thanks! Where would we be if not for your brilliant logical processes? haha jp...

what I MEANT was, is there like a limit (official or unofficial), can we even SEND additional essays, etc/

i did send an additional essay as part of my supplementary materials package.

Woo! Yeah! Dartmouth ED!!!

...Enthusiastic enough? I try. I'm all nervous about it... I just don't think I'm going to get in... But I sure would love to get in. Dartmouth has been super-high on the list for about two years now.
