wanting to get back into college

i want to know if i can still get into a college even though i owe a financial aid debt to a community state college that i diddnt know i was even going to owe back.

Contact the college where you owe financial aid, and find out what you would have to do in order to be considered to be in ‘good standing’. If some time has passed, they may be willing to settle with you for a relatively small amount. Without getting that done first, you will probably not be able to get a transcript that documents the courses you have already taken. Even if you don’t want or need those courses to show up, there is still a record that you attended that college. If someone sees that you attended a college, but no transcript is available, that looks a little shady.

You do want to clear that issue up, but you still ought to be able to attend a new college to re-start your academic career.

Call the school and find out where the loan got sold to. It’s probably Navient or Sallie Mae. Before you start school again, call the loan company and get this straightened out. Also, if you start school again, your loans will be deferred.
