Wanting to go out of State

Well since HS junior year is about to end ive been thinking bout college especially colleges in california. Why california, because i have loads of family there, and i love it there. But since im from Texas i dont know if its a good idea because of the out of state tuition so i just want to see what are my chances of getting into some colleges, and Financial tips i should hear about, Residency anything will really help. Also i go to an Early College High School so i take some classes at the Community college along with my High School classes

I have a 96-97 average in my high school classes(dont know how to change it into a 4.0 scale)
I have a 3.8 for College
I havent taken the SAT but from taking the PSAT i think ill hit around 1700 with math being my highest
for the ACT i got a 24(i know my tests are not very good

I plan to go into pharmacy

I know all the college credits wont be accepted but it still looks good

Unless your parents are willing to pay $50K/year for a UC I would give up on the idea. There is no magic way to become a CA resident unless your parents move there now. What is your HS rank? If you are in the top 7% then you should make UT.

Well im ranked number 17 in my school but sine we only have 125 students in our class i now im not in the top 7%. Are there any other colleges i should look at?

I would definitely look at Texas A&M. What can your family afford to pay?
