<p>well…the only reason pot is illegal is because politicians & such view it as “the gateway drug” to other-actual dangerous-drugs.</p>
<p>no one has ever died from pot smoking alone & i challenge anyone to prove me wrong ;)</p>

<p>I regularly smoke pot about once week. I understand why people would perceive it as a “gate way drug.” But honestly I feel it is just as bad, if not better than cigarettes. I believe marijuana should be legalized, and hopefully heavily taxed. I know it would limit me from smoking, which I guess is a good thing. Also, perhaps it will help generate a significant amount of money for our government as they need every cent they can get.</p>

I remember presenting a lot of information that says the “war on drugs” is failing, and that we should emphasize prevention more so than punishment. I also said marijuana should be legalized (I don’t smoke btw) but with limitation i.e. minors can’t buy it.
