War Should not be fought because...

Fill it out:

War should not be fought because _____________ which is shown by ____, _, and ______.

War should not be fought because everyone is friendly, which is shown by Nazi Germany, Communist Russia, and Osama Bin Laden.

^ Hahahahahah

I love it.

haha. Good one!

Except the problem is, and the reason why war will always rage, is because "enemies" is relative, just like "friends". It is ridiculous to ever think world peace can be attained because we all share different viewpoints and values. If we lived in Nazi Germany, Americans would be the enemies because they don't want what germany rightfully deserves (relative to the germans, of course). If we were in Al Qaeda americans are enemies because they are infideles...zionists...etc. I know this is obvious to most of you, but I'm amazed how some people just don't get it!

War should not be fought because it's not very nice which is shown by people dying, buildings being blown up, and little kids losing their moms and dads.

Violent war should not be fought because it replaces bad situations with different bad situations, as shown by World War I, Vietnam, now...you name it.

And for the record, I support my American troops, which is why I don't appreciate them being led off to die for anything less than Unquestionable Goodness.

Because the wrong people get screwed. Do you realize that during a war, the younger generations ALWAYS get screwed? Do you realize that OUR generation is the one dying in Iraq, Afghanistan, whatever? Do you realize that OUR generation is going to get stuck with the $4T bill for the war that Bush spent that he didn't have? Do you realize that OUR generation has to go on multiple PR trips to repair the alliances that Bush destroyed? Do you realize that OUR generation has go fix the constitution that Bush worked so hard to destroy? Do you realize that OUR generation has to deal with it when we run out of crude oil?

If you don't you're retarded. Complete disarmament of all countries around the world is in order. That means NO country will be allowed to have a standing army, NO country will be allowed to have an arsenal of nukes, NO country will be allowed to have chemical and biological weapons, and NO country will be allowed to maintain military forces within or outside their borders. Then and only then will we achieve world peace. If the thugs don't have the tools to bomb each other....although I wouldn't mind if "war" meant two presidents facing off on some desert island someplace.

I support the troops, which is why I don't appreciate them being led off to die for ANY REASON.

"NO country will be allowed to maintain military forces within or outside their borders"

You know that the Army National guard is a military force and also helps civilians in need (for example Hurricane Katrina) right?

And people who use "retarded" to attack those who have different opinions than yours are really immature, rude, and uneducated.

Also, the troops don't care that a bunch of teenagers don't believe in their mission. They go out there and do what they pledged to do when they entered the service. You were most likely in elementary school when some of them first joined the service.

I support my troops. To tolerate the crap people constantly say about the war they fight in is something I could never do. You can't just be physically tough to be in the military, you have to be mentally and emotionally tough also.

I just wanted to respond and I didn't mean to break the mad-lib chain.

futurenyustudent...who exactly is going to enforce this arms ban? And how will the complete disarmament of all nations affect the security of say, Israel? How can Israel respond to suicide bombings, rocket attacks, and kidnappings from militant groups if they do not have a standing army?

I love wars. Less people = less problems.

Corollary: Less you = less problems.

^ too bad war always creates new problems.

"futurenyustudent...who exactly is going to enforce this arms ban? And how will the complete disarmament of all nations affect the security of say, Israel? How can Israel respond to suicide bombings, rocket attacks, and kidnappings from militant groups if they do not have a standing army?"

Well, they wouldn't have to worry about any of that if they hadn't (1) stolen Palestine; and (2) treated their new subjects with such agression and injustice after the fact.

People forget that Israel was born out of violent war. In Israel, "violence begets violence" has its case in point. I won't even start on the new Zionist war taking place in Iraq...

War should not be fought because..... we could spend all that money on beer and everyone would be happy

War should not be fought because it's an obsolete part of our species' nature. This is shown by the obvious possibility of attaining the same goals (of the species) by other means. Only the blindly powerful and the blindly oppressed believe in war.

How do their problems or their talent justify the war? That's a sensationalist argument. "A thing is not necessarily true because a man dies for it." (Oscar Wilde)

I never declared a stance on the issue of war.

No one really wants a war. I don't want people dying, buildings destroyed, and families torn apart.

However, evil exists in the world and singing "kumbaya" is not going to change a despot's mind.

If someone punched you in the face are you going to say: "Please big bully, let's give peace a chance" or are you going to hit them back?

What scares me is that after the beheadings of US citizens, people dragging the dead bodies of our soldiers through the streets in Somalia you would rather sing "kumbaya" and hold hands, than go after the vermin who do this to human beings.

I wish there was peace in the world, but terrorism has existed for years. It didn't start on 9/11 if you truly know your history.

To me the beheading of US citizens is the same as the beheading of Somali people or French citizens. I don't believe in the evil and good thing to explain war and peace; people is suprisingly similar everywhere. But I know that really peaceful countries don't have terrorism problems. If the US were like Sweden, I'd be amazed at the terrorism issue; but everything has a cause, of course.

I can't relate this to anything I said, or think.

Someone wrote a song "War what is it good for?" The answer he gave was "absolutely nothing." The correct answer is that war is an inevitability of a civilized society.

If someone punches me in the face I wouldn't even bother to punch back. I'd just sue them into bankruptcy. Maybe then they'll think twice about assaulting people.
