<p>Hey everyone, I'm starting college in a few weeks at George Washington, where students are known for never wearing sweatpants and stuff like that. I'm pretty much set on professional-looking clothes to wear to class, but was wondering whether people had suggestions for must-have essentials for parties, nightclubs, bars, and such. I'm a girl and 6 ft tall so heels are almost out of the question.</p>
<p>I guess it depends on what type of look you’re going for. I hear that people from GWU are somewhat for dressing like they’re straight out a J. Crew or Madewell ad, but you shouldn’t let that sway you into dressing a certain way. But for special occasions I guess it’s always nice to have:
-A simple piece of jewelry (studs, a watch, etc.)
-Flats (2-3 pairs)
-A classic LBD (little black dress)
-A LWD
-Cardigans
-A fitted blazer
-A few dressy tops
-Fitted pants (Gap, Uniqlo, and H&M have pretty nice pants in different colors)
-Heels; I know you said you’re tall so heels aren’t really preferred, but it’s always nice to have at least 1 or 2 pairs of heels.</p>
