I am taking Geometry from Ashworth College/James Madison High School, and every test I take there is always a few questions I get wrong even though I know FOR SURE that they are right. I check other sources, I check my work, and I know that they graded my test wrong.
Just a warning to anybody considering online classes. Ashworth College may not be the best place to learn. However, you do get a textbook that is yours to keep, so you can still learn. Just know that your grade will be a little lower because of them.

By only one case you are taking whole online classes as same type. Yes this is true that lots of online classes are doing wrong and they don’t have actual material, but we can select the good one among them. Just because one case we can’t blame the whole online classes.

@Bassonapus: Is James Madison High School an online school? If it’s not, I’m guessing that you go to the James Madison High school in Texas…I could be wrong…I only know that since I saw a James Madison High School on the internet…Yeah, I guess some online classes could be wrong, but in the end, you still learn something from it. By the way, do you get credit for taking geometry online?

Same thing for me with Sevenstar. Plus the fact that learning anything online is usually a bad experience without a teacher…

I’ve taken an online class before. They’re not ideal, but the one I took wasn’t too bad either. Not all of them make those mistakes.

Of course you know for sure they graded your test wrong, there’s no way you could be wrong…

@ jim - I was just talking about the one online school
@ foodlover - it is an online school, though I imagine it’s a common name. Also, i don’t directly get credit from the class, which is good because I won’t lose points for their mistakes
@whitesnow - that sucks. however, i guess you get what you pay for - ashworth was only 275 (a steal compared to most online classes)
@stressed out - that’s good to hear! if you have any recommendations for a better online school, i’d really love to hear it, as I will most likely be taking online classes in the future
@harveymuddlove - lol

FLVS is good. I actually used NJVS (the NJ branch of FLVS basically). I think it only works in NJ or Florida though, but there might be more branches.

Thanks stressedouttt!
I hope summer is making you less stressed :)
