Warren College

I've yet to see anyone make a Warren thread, any other admits get into this school? I listed this one was my number 1 choice when we applied (I forgot I ranked it ahead of Muir lol). Any current students got anything to let potential future students know about this college? :D

i got into warren!

Warren writing is the worst thing in the world.

Accepted to Warren for Molecular Bio!

Got accepted into Warren too :)

Got in to Warren <3

Congratulations on getting accepted into the best college at UCSD! And no Warren Writing isn’t the worst thing in the world. Alright, here’s what it boils down to. The GEs are cake because you can pretty much pick whatever you want for them. I’m double minoring just because it’s so easy to do with the GEs you get to pick from. The dorm rooms are pretty small, but they’re clean and I really like our bathroom and common room. CV (Canyon Vista) isn’t the most fantastic food but you just have to figure out what’s good there and what isn’t. Plus they have TVs inside which the other dining halls don’t, so I watch Sports Center at breakfast every morning. One of the majors cons though is getting to York Hall. You’ll see what I mean.

Just got in too for Computer Engineering! Does the setup of the Warren residential buildings facilitate socializing between the girls and guys?

Yes, the residential halls in Warren (Frankfurter, Harlan and Stewart) are set up so that a female suite is always across from a male suite. There are always chances of meeting people of opposite genders since there are around 6 suites (3 girls, 3 guys suites) per floor except for the top floors (which only have 2 suites). Hope this helps :D

I got into Warren :D

Is Warren best? Prettiest?

Warren for Biomedical Engineering.

Warren for Mechanical Engineering.

warren for bioengineering!

warren! general biologyy
but i wish i chose muir :(

@Cali4me- none of the colleges are “best” or “worst”. They’re about equal, just with different dorms and GEs. And no, Warren is not the prettiest. It was built a few decades ago.

It seems that the consensus is that Muir and Warren are two more favorable colleges. Nothing against the others at all of course, we’re all (potential) Tritons. But most would likely say they’d favor Muir or Warren to some degree.

undeclared for warren, hmm.

Warren for communication (o.o Only liberal arts person here?)

@spacedog

I think you have a good point. Most people like Muir and Warren because they give you so many options for your GEs.
