-How big are the mattresses/bed (in inches or cm, please provide length and width)?</p>
<p>-Do Warren Tower dorms provide enough adequate heating that I do not have to buy a thick comforter/duvet?</p>
<p>-For a guy, is it necessary to buy a bath robe, especially during winter?</p>

<p>in all my overnight stays at all colleges…i’ve never seen anyone wear a bathrobe to the showers. Just man up and towel around your waist.</p>
<p>Beds in pretty every college in the US are now extra long twin size. Basic stuff like that is cheap in the US. I have no idea if they carry that size bedding in your country.</p>
<p>You’ll likely be more than warm in your dorm. It’s more sensible to pick up fleece blankets - which are cheap - if you are the kind who gets cold. Then you can layer.</p>
<p>The beds are 80". It gets ridiculously hot in the winter because you can’t adjust the heating. I’d literally wake up sweating every morning.
I don’t think it’s necessary to buy this kind of stuff in your country - you have a very limited suitcase capacity and it’d be wiser to use it for clothes and other necessities. There is a Bed Bath & Beyond within walking distance from Warren where I bought all my dorm equipment last year. It’s not that expensive, and it’ll last you 4 years so it’s a good investment.</p>
<p>Do the Bed Bath and Beyond shop run out of supplies at around August 20ish? Since there are so many colleges around, wont there be quite a huge demand for dorm necessities?</p>
<p>I went dorm shopping September 1st-ish and I found everything I needed. Most people don’t move in until August 30-ish so you should be fine. <p>Warren Rooms aren’t that small. I’ve been in two. Compared to other schools I visited, the dorms in Warren are the bigger ones.</p>

<p>Yep that was me. I doubt they turn it off at night… During the winter I’d always open my window for a while to get some fresh air before going to bed, go to sleep and then wake up sweating with the blanket on the floor because the heating was too strong. In the fall and spring the temperature is ok, but in the winter the dorm is overheated. Consequently, everyone gets sick because of the intense heat difference between the outdoors and indoors.</p>
<p>Warren dorms do get really hot during the winter. They turn up the heaters quite a bit. Heating starts quite early in the winter, unlike Towers, where sometimes heating can be a bit insufficient. And it can be a good idea to get some stuff from your country, as stuff is cheap compared to other stuff in Boston, but not cheap compared to the prices in my country at least. It depends - you should check prices online at Bed, Bath and Beyond.</p>
