Warren dorms bedspace

Is there any advantage/disadvantage of having one bed as opposed to another?

Bottom bunk:
+You don’t have to go down the stairs to turn off your alarm.
+Storage under your bed.
-Visitors will sit on your bed.

Top bunk:
-You’re close to the lights so if somebody turns on the lights when you’re sleeping, you’ll probably wake up.
-Fire sprinklers are right above the ladder, so watch your head.
+/- Forced to go down ladder to turn off alarm.

Loft:
Same as top bunk, but your desk and mini closet are right below your bed.
-You have a little less storage space. Your mini closet is pretty small. The other guys get a closet and a drawer.

i managed to plug my alarm clock into an extension cord and snake it up to the bunk – no problems at all! the lights were annoying, though.

can we change our bed location?
because im currently the top bunk… but i move around alot when i sleep so im scared that the person on the bottom will a light sleeper… ><

You can try to switch with one of your roommates if they don’t mind.

The best part about sleeping on the top bunk is that you get to climb down the ladder to turn your alarm off. That way you’re definitely up and can’t fall right back asleep.
