im an incoming freshmen. i submitted my housing app (didn't pay for it yet) and i chose apartment. do freshmen get apartments easily?

what's the rate for it? i did double. is there a big gap between res. and apt?

after i get you guys' opinions, is it possible to change it from res. to apt.

i already chose my roommate, therefore i need to send the roommate request email. what do i include on the email?

No

Google “UCSD Housing”, it will make your life much easier

I’m confused - change it from res to apt? the other way? I don’t think it’s a good idea for freshmen to live in apartments, you don’t make friends as easy.

It should be like " My name is ____, myPID # is , and I am requesting to live with _, whose PID # is ."

i’m not desperately wanting it, my roommate wanted an apartment because the students that she knows in ucsd recommended apartment. thanks anyways.
