my son is an incoming freshman. he knows he’s in warren towers, and he knows he’s in the building farthest east. what he wants to know is if his room number–which ends in an 18–might view the city or the other towers or, maybe, does not have a window.

any insights on this most pressing question?

I’m not sure whether he’s in A or C, even though I think C is considered western. If he’s in A, then -18 may get him a side shot view of something if he’s high…but it’ll be mainly B tower. If it’s C, he’s in luck! Weirdly enough, I’m in C tower and in a room ending in -18 myself. I look out down Comm Ave (not towards the Pru/Citgo sign…but down towards most of BU).

thanks Lauren! he’s in A tower and on the seventh floor. i’ll give him the link.

no way, your son is in 718A?!?!?! that’s where my boyfriend spent his freshman and sophomore years, in that same room!!! 7A was a great floor and i made lifelong friends that lived there. the view isn’t too great from that room, just of b tower and some spinning vents, but warren towers was a blast. omg that still is just so funny to me, you have no idea how much guitar hero i played in that room.

that’s funny–big towers, small world. while the view may be less than it could be, the room’s history sounds like a happy one. thanks.
