Warrington Welcome

Hello! Does anyone know how to get into Warrington Welcome? Will I sign up at Preview? I am certain I will declare a Business or Accounting major and I want to take this class so I am eligible for the Florida Leadership Academy sophomore year. Thanks!

Yea, it’s just a class, you sign up for it at preview.

A word of advice: Actually meet the requirements, even the stupid ones. It’s suppose to be an easy A, but one of my friends ended up with a C in it because he refused to do some of the BS (volunteering, for instance)

How many hours of volunteering is required? What other requirements are there?

There is only one service project in Warrington Welcome. Its on a Saturday morning so you are sure to be hungover, but I found the class itself very helpful and worth taking. If you are going to be here over summer then definitely do it then because its more of a pain in the fall when you have more going on.

Also, definitely do Florida Leadership Academy, its probably the best program the business college offers.

Warrington Welcome is a pretty fun and laidback class. I looked forward to going to WW every thursday – it was one of the highlights of my courseweek. I wouldn’t worry about it. Like someone mentioned above, do the requirements and attend the service project and you should be fine. There’s also a pretty fun case study competition, or at least there was in Fall 2006.

Alright, that’s not bad. Thanks for the info.
