Was declined as fall transfer, should I apply for spring?

I was declined for a fall transfer (econ) with a 2.95gpa with 60 hours completed and was declined. Should I apply for spring 2010? or would it be a waste? I expect to make A's this upcoming fall semester at the school I currently attend, so my gpa will rise and I'll have at least 75 credits. But, will I still be declined with the 2.95, before my fall grades arrive? Will their be time to review my fall grades?

Is it easier to get in during the spring transfer as opposed to fall?

You need to raise your GPA to atleast above a 3.0 to be considered competitive, preferably higher than that. One thing to be careful with is A&M will frown upon too many credits received when transferring.

So, if your GPA is above a 3.0… why not try again, it can’t hurt. Plus Spring transfers are usually less competitive than Fall.

Well, I know my GPA at least 3.0, with a pretty tough fall semester. My worry is that I will be declined before having this fall’s grades in, and that they wont have time to reconsider them.

also whats the max credits A&M allows for a transfer?

I don’t believe there is a max, however I could be wrong. As I said in my previous post, it’s merely frowned upon.
