Good chance at BU, GW, don’t know about NYU Good Luck.

Could anyone possibly answer my original question?

I just need to know whether I’m being reasonable with my choices. Is northeastern a certain enough school for me not to bother applying to Penn state?

You seem to have a good selection of schools but just in case, it couldn’t hurt to apply to Penn State. Chances are that you will be accepted to at least one of the schools on your list, but you should still apply to Penn State! It won’t take long, it doesn’t cost much, and it is a very good school (good parties too lol). Hope this helps!

Don’t apply to Penn if you haven’t already. It’s not a very good school, has an extremely large student body and the campus is not well cared for. I would recommend a school like SUNY Albany (you’re in there, no doubt, especially with no fin aid). It’s got better programs than Penn and a much nicer campus. And you probably should apply to one more, it’s always good to have more than one safety.

It’s Penn State, not Penn, which is in Philadelphia. It is a very good school, has an extremely large student body, fantastic school spirit and the campus is well-cared for and beautiful.

^ I never mentioned Upenn anyway.

So, one person saying it’s crap; another saying it’s awesome… Mhmm…

Spazman21, I am from New Jersey. Every year about 15 kids from my high school go to Penn State. The majority of kids who go to Penn State aren’t the smartest kids in the grade, but that does not mean that Penn State is not a good school. Yes, they do party (a lot) but it has a pretty good reputation, and as a safety school, it cannot hurt. Antigoneivory has absolutely no idea what he is talking about. He is incorrectly referring to Penn State as Penn (The University of Pennsylvania), please do not listen to what he has to share, it is not worth your time.

^ That’s pretty much the sole reason I’m applying there - the parties and all.

Don’t know anything else about it.

Don’t worry; you’ll be fine! No need to add in another application
Good luck!!!
