Was I too late?

Hi, I was just wondering...if Rutgers doesn't receive all of your credentials by Nov 1, will they not count your application as early action? I sent in my application and everything else on Oct 30, and they got most of it by Nov 1, but they didn't get my SAT scores until Nov 2. Does that mean that they won't count my application as early action since the scores were a day late? Just curious because a friend of mine submitted her application on Oct 27 and she got her acceptance letter about ten days later, and it's been a couple weeks and I still haven't gotten a response yet. Any input would help. Thanks!

You will most likely be fine. I submitted most of the app the same day as you, Oct. 30th, and sent my SATs that day. Collegeboard didnt send them out immediately, but Rutgers got them like that thursday, which was a few days after Nov. 1st. I was notified of acceptance Nov. 9th.

Dont worry, as long as your SRAR and fee were in by Nov 1st and you had sent your SAT scores prior to Nov 1st, you should be fine.

I sent my SAT scores asap after the Oct testing scores were released, and they arrived on November 2nd, the same day I was notified of my admission.

Okay, thank you both! That’s relieving. Do you think maybe because I did EOF it takes longer to get back to me? I just feel like I can get in with my stats, they’re above average for the school. Then again, it’s not always about grades. Just a little nervous! Haha thanks again though :)

You have two weeks after the deadline. So if everything was in within two weeks after Nov 1st (which it was), you’re fine. Good Luck.

I have the same question! I did early action, and all my credentials were sent by November 14, 2011. But yesterday, I saw that the date changed to 10/21/2011 because they also added the School of Engineering ( I had requested it ). Does that change anything? Will I still be considered?
