was my friend lying usc?

he said he got in after 30 units

bad in high school

3.6- gpa in community college i guess hes for investing i dont know is thats for marshall

and he was just an average student...

im here with a 4.0 worrying that a c in calculus my first year and only 9 units for fall with not get me into usc

Okay you've asked tons of questions about this already.

Just read this stat sheet of 2008 transfers, there are a few Marshall Sophomore transfers and they all have 30+ units and 4.0s.

<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/513075-official-usc-transfer-decisions-2008-stats-only.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/513075-official-usc-transfer-decisions-2008-stats-only.html</a></p>

So no, a C in calculus looks awful.

Yeah man just stop asking these questions already. Aside from the fact that we are not USC adcoms and are for the most part on the same boat, you're just asking questions that have no "real" or objective answers. No one is going to tell you that everything is going to be OK and that you'll get in for sure. At the same time though, no one is going to tell you to give up. Just try your best to get straight A's, apply and see what happens. That's pretty black and white.

And sorry but I'm justified in ranting about this -- you and I already had a PM conversation about all this. Jeez.

Agreed ^^

Thanks for finishing that one off.
