Was told to ask a parent on here about the Morehead Scholarship

<p>Full Tuition Scholarship called Morehead? </p>

<p>My friend told me about the Morehead(spelling) Scholarship, not to be confused with UNC-Chapel Hill's Scholarship.</p>

<p>He said it was a competitive scholarship where a teacher nominates you and the person selected with the best stats (grades, SAT's, other test scores, competitions, etc) wins.</p>

<p>He said it provides full tuition to any college plus an extra $10,000 or something similar.</p>

<p>Could anyone tell me about this?
What do I do, requirements, how to apply?
Any website with information would be great.</p>

<p>The parent whose son got a Morehead is EADad. The Morehead is only available to NC residents and graduates of certain high schools in other states. It can only be used at UNC Chapel Hill. The competition is quite stiff and it requires much more than just outstanding grades to win one. It is a fabulous opportunity. Here is the link for full information:
