Wash U in St. Louis, Emory, or Wesleyan?

These are my top 3 schools, and I love them all. I want to possibly major in Art History and I want to be able to take a few studio art classes, but I am open to changing my course of study in college. I am interested in the humanities but want to take science courses as well, and possibly a few business and economic classes. Please share your opinions on campus feel, students, and where you think one would have the best college experience. Thanks!!

Do not go to Emory if you want to study the visual arts in any non introductory capacity. Though it does have a great art history program as well as the on campus Carlos Museum of Art, it’s not a place to go if you want to become a better artist. I’d choose between Wash U St. Louis and Wesleyan.

Put my vote for Wash U - Great school, great neighborhood, great city, great arts programs all in one place.

bump

money being equal, WashU, which is strong in just about everything and superior to Wesleyan in most things.

is the money equal?

yes, the $ is equal @jkeil911‌

Wesleyan is hard to beat for the way art, music, and especially film, pulls the campus together. It’s one of the smallest colleges in the country with its own indie music scene and yet it is equally impressive across the board with opportunities to participate in NIH and other National Science Foundation research even as a first year student. All majors are easy to transfer between because there are no separate schools for anything; everyone graduates with a B.A. degree. Seems to me it boils down to what size college community the OP is looking for.

I think Wes sounds like a good fit for you.
