What are my chances at Wash U?

Your resume sounds eerily similar to mine, except I have a lot of sports. I wonder with all the 1500er's waitlisted what kind of chances we would have. What other schools are you considering?

BU, V-tech, Villanova, Marist, UCONN, NYU...any other suggestions? And you mean u got waitlisted with these stats?

and do u think some of those schools r too low for what i got

For Wash U, applying ED improves you chances Substantially (that is SUBSTANTIALLY!!). Try to raise your SAT a little, apply ED, and I think you'll probably get in,

if u apply ED to washu u are pretty much guaranteed. (friend got in with a few good extra curriculars, 1220, highest SAT 2 was a 620, 4.0 gpa, ED I) so u should have a good chance if u apply ED. RD if ur SAT is raised to the 1350+ then u will raise ur chances

I second the ED comments. They are HUGE on ED.

I think uconn would be a mega-fallback. All the people I know there in honors have way lower stats. They applied instate tho.

Regarding all the 1500s waitlisted, we have seen many waitlisted at WashU accepted to HYP. The fear of course is the very top is waitlisted, as WashU expects them to go to other schools.

I would not consider this as a reason to be afraid of WashU admissions -- but still try to get the SAT up (new SAT 2100+) or ACT to about 31+
