Congrats CJ! I’ll probably see you guys at orientation… not sure if they have anything separate for transfers or not.

Thanks! I plan on majoring in Biology. Pre-Med track.

Just called the admissions office. A lady said they’ve released all transfer decisions, and available to check on the pathway? i haven’t received anything in my pathway inbox or email. Has everyone received a decision?

Are there anyone still waiting for decision notification. Has Wash U closed their offer for fall 2014?

How long did they give you guys to respond to your acceptance?

@Sammvp1 they gave me until the 21st.

I still haven’t heard back yet. They said I’d receive a decision in approximately 6 weeks, which would fall on April 17 for me. Did it take you guys 6 weeks as well or sooner?

They took less than three weeks with mine.

I turned in my app on March 1st and got a decision on March 19th.

why is it taking my decision so long then…

I just called, they said i should receive something in the mail tomorrow or first thing next week, then my decision will be online…does that sound like an acceptance or rejection? I applied to Olin Business btw

Honestly sounds like it can go either way. They do a good job about keeping it a mystery.

Could someone chance me please?

Olin decisions are up on pathway. YAY I was accepted (soph transfer); I was accepted last year too but chose a more spirited CA school; think I’d be happier in smaller environment tho. 31ACT, 4.7 weighted GPA, 9 APs; 3.9 college GPA. Anyone else transferring to Olin?

Dang, I still have not heard anything after 6 weeks. Does anybody know what day decisions usually come out?

I don’t know anyone else but you waiting… there is no day they usually come out because most of them have come out.

hopeful scholar - I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you, but hopefully you applied to transfer to some other engineering schools that were more realistic with your stats. WashU supposedly takes less than 5% of transfer apps; there are several good schools like Vanderbilt, USC and Emory and NYU that take over 30%, and several middle schools that would be safer: Maryland, Tulane, Syracuse, even Miami. In all honesty, with a 3.4 HS GPA and a 1370 you would be very lucky to gain admission to a top 20 engineering school, without several 5s in AP sciences or high SAT 2 scores. Also, how can you only have a 3.5 GPA if you only have one college grade that is not an A?

I had a 1940 SAT and not an amazing hs GPA. It’s my college GPA that is higher. Don’t give up! Goodluck:)

I got in today! Good luck to anyone who hasn’t heard back yet!

By the way, does anyone know if transfer students can live on campus?
