Washington Aerospace Scholars Program

If anyone ever has questions about the program (Phase 1 or Phase 2) I have participated in both and will happily answer any questions you have. To the current WASers, good luck and I hope you get to participate in Phase 2!

Although the slightly rigorous online curriculum of Phase 1 can be difficult to juggle with junior year, many great opportunities can come out of becoming a WAS alum. So keep pushing!

Feel free to drop questions below or inbox me directly.

I’m applying to colleges for aerospace engineerng. Can you please explain what this is about. thanks @math3matical

@caasse Here is a wiki link for aerospace engineering: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aerospace_engineering

Otherwise, it is basically a field where you work-on, create, and design spaceships, space-bound technology (like satellites), and any space-travel related machinery.

@math3matical Oh yeah, I’ve been there and done all that… I just wanted to know about the ‘Washington’ program you talked about.

Ahah, that makes much more sense. My bad ;)) I have a blogpost about the program: http://parisimo.blogspot.com/p/washington-aerospace-scholars-was.html

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any specific questions.

I’m currently in Phase One so I can probably help answer some questions too.
