Hey everybody. I thought we would get this thread started. I know decisions come in by April 1st but does W&L generally release before that date?

Hi. April 1 or a day later, never earlier.

The last few years RD decisions have been posted fairly consistently midweek, the last week of March. I don’t recall it being April 1st or later in recent history.

The decision is due on the 27th of March.

Yes, I’ve also heard March 27th is the regular decision date, unless you were a part of the Johnson Competition in which case you should already know

…My parents just got a letter from W&L inviting them to an accepted student’s reception in april but I haven’t gotten a letter saying that I have been accepted. I guess this means yes?

Where do you live?

New Jersey, right outside of new york. my brother goes to w&l so im guessing that they already had my address and info on file, so things came quickly. but honestly i have no idea haha

Hey there. Historically, are the decisions available at midnight tonight, or at a certain time during the day? I’ve got both my fingers crossed!

how do you know this??? ahh that’s so exciting!

8 pm EDT according to W&L admissions website . . . you have less than 24 hours to go!

Decisions are out!

where do you go? like on the website? I only got an email in mid-february talking about financial aid

its on the status portal

go to the applicant portal and login
GL :D

Waitlisted. Probably should’ve showed demonstrated interest =/

haha sounds like a smart idea ^ thanks!

wait im so sorry that was intended for people earlier in the post!!! ^

I was waitlisted as well. I didn’t write the optional supplement and didn’t request an interview and I’m an international asking for aid so as weird as it sounds I’m pleasantly surprised with my waitlist. I expected an outright rejection. I don’t think I’ll accept my spot on the waitlist though because I’m already in at Amherst.

got waitlisted. I don’t know how many people are on waitlist. It recently became my 1st choice. I didn’t request interview/didn’t write an optional essay. I regret that I did not do them. I wonder when waitlist decisions will be out and how many people will accept the spot…
