Washington and Lee vs. Wake Forest vs. Bucknell

Hi, I am interesting in applying for all three of these schools next year. I am looking for a mid range-size school to small school and I plan on majoring in business or economics. As of right now, I am torn between W&L and Wake Forest, both of which I have heard about different appealing qualities. I like the size of Wake Forest but from what I understand, W&L is an overall better school. However, I have commonly seen WFU on a list of top undergrad business schools in the country (above W&L) so if I were to major in business, which of the two would be better and also how would Bucknell fair against them. Essentially, I would like to know which of these schools would put me in a stronger position after I graduate (this of course also takes account for the alumni network at these schools which I havent heard much about in any of these schools.) I am also very interested in greek life and from what I understand W&L and Bucknell both have a dominant greek life and I was wondering how big the WFU greek life is on campus in comparison to these schools. I also am a conservative and from what I understand W&L is a very conservative school, Bucknell is moderatly conservative, and I havent heard anything about WFU so I would like to hear about their student body's political views.

Thanks!

You’re a junior and you already have a major and 3 schools narrowed down?
I envy you.

If you want to study business, I highly recomend you going to Wake Forest. Even though school is full of ‘I almost/didn’t/whatever’ reason coudln’t go Ivy League schoo kids, their business school in still great. If you are thinking about working for the investment banks (big 4 persumably) on the wall st, wake forest is your best shot. Other schools are great, but they are small libearl art schools and I honestly didn’t see that many washington & lee or bucknell alums in wall st. (However, I did meet one guy who’s a chief strategist for the very prestegious investmnet bank who went to bucknell).

Do people around Wall Street still wear college T-shirts to work? How/why does everyone know where everyone went to college? Shouldn’t they be worried about who is going to jail next? Maybe they can get T-shirts from different Federal prisons printed up.

So apparently you’re a finished product? If you’ve nothing left to learn, or don’t care to be exposed to anything different from what you currently perceive, then college may not be worth it for you.

Thanks for the help everyone! And I’m not a finished product, I’ve just been raised in a conservative family so I have inherited their beliefs. Plus my political views are sort of irrelevant (and quite frankly I was just looking for some help and not ignorant comments), I just wanted to know if Wake was at all conservative because I’d rather go to a conservative school than a liberal school. I understand that college is about learning and expanding your horizons, but I’m pretty sure I’m conservative.

Wake is conservative enough.

Even W&L is not that “liberal”.
