<p>listen...2 year's ago, what was Wash U's sat range, point closed. I am sorry, but the fact that a school's sat average can increase from a 1370 to a 1430 in a matter of 2 year is beyond absurd to me.</p>
<p>Cornells' overall engineering program ranks higher than WashU in USNWR. And yes they are both strong programs whose highest degree is a doctorate. However, a strong biomedical engineering program is what we were searching for and with their new building, new hires in faculty and the research opportunities available with a top medical school, it fit D's needs. Hopefully, other WashU engr.s can help with more details in their selected majors.</p>
<p>bball87 -More students apply, more students to choose from. Not surprisingly, AdComs are selecting students with higher SATs. Easy concept, no? Good news though. SAT is not all they look at or campus /student body would be very boring!</p>
