@ap012199 that’s helpful to know. Should we expect those earlier as well?
@superbowser12 scholarship finalists come out March 1st and RD results will likely come out around the 10th.
I heard from a friend whose sister goes to WashU they usually like to give them out on a surprise date earlier in the month. Most people who received merit scholarships are receiving their notices now
Hey! I applied RD! I also really liked WashU but wanted to see the financial aid package. Unfortunately, i had a lot of family problems going on so I didnt apply for any scholarships, but I am applying for some outside of WashU. I just wanted to ask you guys if it’s a good sign the fiancial aid office asked for my family’s out-of-pocket medical costs for my brother?? Do you think it’s for my fiancial aid package? Does this mean I got in? Because I don’t think colleges are allowed to ask that unless you’re already in? Thanks!
@hannydabanny I don’t know anything about admission ethics…sorry bud! But it’s possible that’s a good sign? I don’t know.
@hannydabanny The financial aid office processes everyone’s file before admissions decisions are made because they want admitted students to know what kind of aid they’re going to get at the same time that they get admitted. So I don’t think it means anything
Will WashU notify you if you didn’t get the scholarship?
I believe the portal will update on friday to notifiy if you did or did not get scholarship
@bssurly okay! I didn’t want to think anything of it, but my family got me a lil excited… I was just overthinking it. Originally I thought maybe the financial office wouldn’t have asked for more information from a student who got rejected, because you know, why would they? But what you said makes sense…thanks!
Man I can’t wait till the tenth anymore!!
Pretty hyped because I thought these results would be out in April. This will be my first of four results in March so I’m hoping for good news since I haven’t had great luck with scholarships so far. The scary thing about the times leading up to decisions is that the odds are pretty good they know if they’re gonna accept you or not lol…
Did anyone get a phone call yet? I haven’t it’s only 11:43 am right now, just wondering…
Is it a phone call or email/portal notification? And do we have an idea about the time?
I have no idea about the time, but I haven’t heard anything yet either
ugh im so anxious and I keep refreshing everything
It looks like phone calls started going out about scholarship acceptances yesterday and should continue to be going out through Thursday. You should get a call before you get an email or an update to your pathway account.
@bsudds does this apply to international students as well?
How do you know calls started going out yesterday @bsudds?
@143WashU143 If you go to the Scholarship Discussion thread, there are multiple users who have received calls (including myself).
do you receive a call if you dont get the scholarship?
