Washington University in St. Louis Fall 2017 Transfer

life goes on*

@limitsbylaw hey I am econ too and just wondering why you will likely choose vandy over washu.

Admittedly, part of it was that I had already committed to Vanderbilt on April 18 (well before Wash U’s decision day of May 15). That being said, I remained confident in my decision. I ended up adding Human and Organizational Development on top of Economics at Vandy, and my interest in the HOD program as well as the other business-y programs (Corporate Strategy and Business minors) made a compelling case for my maintaining my original decision. Additionally, I love Division I FBS football (I grew up watching a lot of it); as a program in a Power 5 conference, Vanderbilt would provide some awesome football to satiate that interest for me. Lastly, I wanted a school with a vibrant social life. Vanderbilt is a school with a thriving Greek community and in an unreal city. As much as I had come to like Wash U through my research and even though I knew it would be tough to pass up their econ program, the social life and athletics ended up pushing the decision in favor of Vanderbilt for me.

Was anyone accepted into Sam Fox?
