When I called the admissions rep said something similar and mentioned that they are using the wait list incrementally…but honestly I think the most trustworthy thing is that email FltoWashU got…it makes sense they keep their alumni in the loop more so than than us. Looks like there’s really no hope :(

I’m on the waitlist too and decided to jump in. How many people have been accepted off it so far? I’m on three waitlists, and I’ve just about lost hope in all of them.

@mchen013 I’ve heard that some people were accepted last week but I don’t know how many… I had hopes for 2 waitlist but got rejected in one… Washu is my last hope…
@collegekid77 I am also feeling lost but wouldn’t they say that it has ended if it actually was?
I wish they do let in some…
I guess since 5.17 was graduation maybe next week they will tell us something

Yeah, I haven’t heard anything from my other waitlists, so probably no good news on my end either.

I was wait listed at 6 schools…I got released by three of them and accepted by one (probs not gonna accept the offer)…and I don’t have much hope for getting off the other two. Getting wait listed sux.

@collegekid77 I totally agree with you… waiting this long and then getting a rejection again really hurts…
I really hope that Washu opens up…

Honestly, if I get an offer at any of the schools I was waitlisted at, I would take it. The school I currently enrolled at doesn’t meet my full financial need, not even in loans.

@mchen013 my parents promised me that they will support my college tuition but American colleges are very expensive… Im also in a similar position because the school I’m enrolled in is not worth it…
Well I hope we get some positive news next week
Good luck to you!

Yes, American colleges are especially expensive to international students. My parents agreed to help, but I have another sibling in college that they have to support as well. I feel horrible making them help me.

I hope we all get some good news as well!

Has anyone received replies from application processor this week?
I sent two mails this week and didn’t get any replies.
They always replied so I’m a bit curious.

Mine has never replied…probably not a good sign for me hahha.

@mchen013 how about you call the undergraduate office?
They are very kind and informative. You can eve talk to an admission officer.

Yeah, I think I’ll do that tomorrow! I’m really curious to know if they got any of my information! Hahha

I got a reply this morning. I had to email admissions in general 'cause my officer’s gone for now. They said that they’re still looking at the waitlist, but it’s literally a waiting game right now. They will give all students a decision by June 30. So, there’s still hope, but none of us should hold our breath. :(

I got a message from my officer that they will notify waitlist candidate this week
hopefully another wave of acceptance?

…I really hope its another wave of acceptances…but to be honest I think they are just gonna release everyone from the wait list, which would suck :(

I called admissions. The freshman class is full and they are going to release wait listees later this week.

Got an email informing me that the class was full, and they were closing the waitlist.

TheBombingRange - You didn’t say anything about your test scores. Were your SAT and/or ACT scores low? I don’t ask to rip you…I ask because I have a HS daughter who will be applying to WashU next year.

Sorry stepay, but this topic is months old. I doubt that guy would bother to come back to this forum after entering college.
