Hey guys is there a WUSTL Class of 2021 RD thread?

@RUHTRA999 Not that I know of.

I think you’d get in. Of 3 kids at our high school who applied, only one got in ED. One who didn’t get in was an Asian male with a 32, but he was deferred. The other is a girl applying to engineering. She was denied. Don’t know her scores. I guess that leaves room for RD apps.

Hi! Dad of a WashU Class of 2021 ED admit. You have a good chance-Asian student with an athletics hook. That’s a rare combination. The science research is good so you are pretty well-rounded.

Have you contacted or been contacted by a coach for tennis? If you are being recruited then that makes things easier.

Did you send in both ACT and SAT? The ACT composite is much better, although the SAT score is good. And you have demonstrated interest so you’re likely in.

My son’s school is pretty competitive (top 25 high school in California). They usually have 70 applicants every year but only 7 are accepted. This year I know of only 2 ED students including my son and both got in. Good luck!
