I am a white female going into senior year. I’m from a competitive school; we don’t do class rank.
Also, I am a very good writer so hopefully my essays are great.

**I am interested in Northwestern and WashU. I know my ACT score is low, but I’ve taken it 3 times and don’t think i can do better if i take it in September. Anyway, please chance me for these schools!
Thank you!

If you’re a good writer, I think your essays will get you in. Hopefully the admissions truly has a holistic view of your application, so much more than your ACT score will be factored in. Good luck!

Overall, the ACT score is your weak point, but don’t stress over it. Keep pursuing your passions, and make sure they come through in your essays. Also, make sure you’re getting good teacher rec’s, as colleges really, really, REALLY look at those.
