Hello,

As a prospective student, I'm just curious about what other students think of the campus size. Do you feel like its big enough for the school? Does it feel crowded? Thank you!

I personally loved it and thought it was the perfect size: I would walk around and not know everyone I saw (unlike my friends at tiny schools) but at the same time there would at least be someone I would know (unlike my friends at big state schools).

Many of my other friends have expressed this same sentiment - it’s why a lot of people choose a mid-sized school (5-7k undergrads), but obviously there are a lot of people who like small or large schools. It’s something you have to figure out for yourself.

The only time I can ever recall the school feeling “crowded” was when everyone was trying to get macklemore tickets when it was moved to the pageant. I don’t think that really counts though ;)

I will be a freshman next year, so there are some things I don’t know for sure, but I will way that the campus is a little smaller than average for a school of this size. It’s still nicely spread out, but it is compact. For me this was very attractive, because just from visiting I felt a great sense of community. The south 40 actually feels like a village. It’s really nice. It may not be for every kid though. That said, there is PLENTY of open space, classic green lawns, etc. Plus forest park is right there for you if you feel claustrophobic. Hope that helped!

I do like the campus size, personally. It’s small enough that one can walk from one end to the other in 15 minutes (10 if you walk quite quickly), but large enough to contain nice sized grass fields.

I think the size is perfect and the campus is beautiful.

Well apparently I read your post wrong! I thought you meant student body size.

If you meant physical size of the campus, I loved that too and agree with everything that has already been said.
