@wondering03 wow that’s really good! You’ll probably get it. I love WashU because it has so many different majors. A lot of really good schools don’t have a cool variety of art, but WashU has all types of art and even fashion design! I wanted a school where I could be exposed to as many topics as possible. I also wanted a school in a big city. And I am interested in entrepreneurship, so the opportunity to own a business on campus is really cool.

Hi everyone! I’m from the northeast. And like @Kijipo7, I like WashU because of all the different topics and majors I could be exposed to. And I’m a musician too! But not at the national level so this forum is making me very intimidated. Good luck to everyone!

This is gonna be such a long wait. What is everyone’s intended majors? I’m undecided but I’m into entrepreneurship, art, fashion design, and engineering (I know, all over the place)
I’m interested in a PNP major as well as art and Spanish
I’m interested in biomedical engineering. I’d like to take Spanish too because I’ve really liked it in high school.
Well, where else did you guys apply? I hate to be this way, but I feel like I won’t be as happy anywhere else but WashU…but then I feel like I’m jinxing myself! I just applied to UNC chapel hill, NC state, and USC (South Carolina). Most people applying to washU applied to other really hard schools, but I didn’t because washU is the only one I’m really into.
@Kijipo7 is it bad that I haven’t sent out any regular apps yet? lol but for regular im considering cornell, gtown, emory, rice
@ssing714 nah there’s no problem with that. I just did early action for everything so I’m done. I hope none of us have to wait for those other decisions if you know what I mean
I think the thing that sticks out to me the most about WashU is just the level of education that is comparable to Ivy leagues and yet unlike those big schools, WashU has a much better/positive environment that is far less competitive. If I get in my major of interest is International Relations. But that is a big if in regards to getting in lol.
But I would like your guy’s opinion…I have really good extra curriculars, honors and GPA and everything is in order but my ACT is a 29…I am really thinking that will be what hurts me big time. Do you guys still think I could potentially have a shot? I am really trying to keep my hopes down because it doesn’t seem realistic but I have loved WashU ever since I was in Jr. High and really hope to get in (just like everyone else here 
)
I really like that about WashU! I know if I go there I’m going to have really exceptional peers and it’s good it won’t be competitive. If so, I’d be at the bottom of the barrel for sure.
@bintamira what’s your superscore ACT? That may be more important! A 29 is still crazy good so I think you’re still in the race for sure.
Hi everyone! I applied ED to WashU (Actually I originally applied RD before I changed my decision to ED). I really love the campus and I hope to run XC and track as well. I plan on majoring in Mechanical Engineering with maybe some minor in Earth and Planetary Science. Can’t wait!
