WASHU ED 2021

@zealii6818 welcome :slight_smile:

Guys I just got promoted to Junior Member on college confidential this is my biggest honor

Based on other forums ppl are saying its the 8th

@ssing714 I haven’t sent out my regular apps except for Georgetown (I’m also looking at Emory and Cornell!!!)

Also, for those of you applying for financial aid… Is anyone else super freaked out by the fact that WashU is need-aware?

When my mom and I called the financial office they told us that for ED they were not need-aware…?

HEY GUYS, I also applied ED and I’m so nervous. Really glad to have some people to share this experience with, though!

Hey everyone!! I’m from the northeast, major undecided but I know I definitely want to do the pre-med track… I have a ton of extracurriculars/leadership/volunteering and I superscored a 32 on the ACT.

Does anyone know if it is harder to get in if you specify you want to do pre-med or any other pre-professional track?

Anyways, best of luck to everyone! I cannot WAIT until decisions come out, fingers crossed.

Hey guys! I’m so anxious for our decisions!! I want to primarily major in PNP and maybe creative writing, women’s studies, fashion design, or photography on a premed track. WashU has so many amazing majors that it’s hard to choose!

@collegemaniac17 Since a huge percentage of an incoming class is preMed each year, I don’t think that is taken into account, especially because so many incoming preMeds drop it.

Did anyone else not think waiting was going to be that bad but now find themselves thinking about decisions coming out multiple times a day?! I was so so so wrong! Good luck to everyone! :slight_smile:

Hey, did anyone else apply as a legacy?

@2jae7jbyj no, it says “downloaded” on my common app. I received a confirmation from common app that my application had been submitted and downloaded and sent.

I am definitely going to contact admissions.
Should I send an E-Mail, or call directly? Which would be best?

Hey everyone! I’m an international student and I’ve applied to Olin Business School for ED. Hope to meet you guys in person if we are given the chance! :-j

@katie1881 where r yu from

@Isabelleg1 Yess it freaks me out so much! It makes sense because obviously they can’t pay for every student but the fact that that may be a determining factor is terrible lol. I mean, WashU is crazy expensive so of course people would apply for aid!

@xVantasx I’m also an international student! Where do you come from?

@stressed98 I am a legacy! My dad got his bachelor in chemistry in 82 or 83 (I can’t remember :wink:

@bintamira WashU is need-aware. Read this article and almost ■■■■ myself as someone applying for aid. http://www.businessinsider.com/washington-university-universitys-economic-diversity-2015-1

alright guys you are all sweet and so kind but I am FREAKING OUT!
I have never wanted anything so badly.

@caresx11 I totally feel, I want to get in so badly!! it’s all I can think about…
