Essays:
-Common App is about Boy Scouts

Your Common App essay topic caught my eye. From a parent of an Eagle Scout currently at WashU.

My WashU kid wrote about his Boy Scout experiences and connected it to ‘Lord of the Flies.’ Which was unique and must have resonated with an admissions officer.

PM me if you have questions.

Also have you taken an AP lab science (AP Biology or AP Chemistry)?

I don’t consider APES a rigorous lab science and a potential Computer Science major should take some combination of AP Biology/Chemistry/Physics.
