Hi,
I've been reading threads at CC for a while, but I thought I'd register to see what the people here have to say about my chances. I'm currently a senior at a public high school in the St. Louis area, and applying to Washington University through Early Decision. What are my chances of getting in?

Extracurriculars: Tennis, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (math honors society), Beta Chi Pi (science honors society), Quills and Scrolls (English honors society), National History Club, Robotics Club, literary magazine

Leadership: National History Club president, literary magazine editor, National Honor Society executive aide

Out of school activities: Indian cultural association member (50+ hrs of service), Missouri Scholars Academy participant (3 weeks at Mizzou), Students and Teachers as Research Scientists participant (6 weeks at WashU)

I forgot to mention, I also went for an interview - will that significantly help my chances of getting in as well? I also saw some people posting about their course load - I’ve taken as many AP/honors classes as possible.

I know the recommendations are excellent, and my essay is solid. Any other advice?

I got a student for the interview, it was very laid back and I was able to answer the (rather simple) questions pretty well.

Also, I’d like to know about my chances to get into the University Scholars program. I’m interested in it for the med school. I hear it’s pretty hard to get into though.
