I was accepted to WashU, and I was wondering if someone familiar with the engineering program could enlighten me on his/her experiences. I want to be an aerospace engineer (I understand WashU only has MechE but I'm fine with that), and my other options are UCSD and Illinois. I know these are typically considered to be better-known engineering schools, but I'm really trying to avoid public schools for various personal reasons. Any input is appreciated! :D

Bump…

Just for the record, there is still an aerospace minor and a graduate program (both MS & PhD).

My friends interested in the aerospace track enjoy their classes & professors a lot. The only gripe I’ve heard is that they wished their were more classes, but that happens when it’s not actually a major.

I have several friends who will be going the defense/space contracting route post college.
