New CC Rule: If you didnt get into washu, it was not because you were "too good". if you are so superior, washu would have accepted you and potentially won you over with scholarships. but being that you werent accepted, you have no right to question washu's academic integrity

I think that post was written because a student was puzzled. Most people don't think that Washu is very prestigious or academically rigorous because they seem to "sell-themselves" to students with a barrage of post-collegeboard mailings.

i guess my main point is that someone wouldnt bash brown or jhu if they didnt get in when wash u IS academically comparable...

.... .... ... ...

Let's let this die.

This has been beaten to death. Every possible viewpoint has been given in previous threads.

sangel, no offense but ur more than a month too late... this subject is long gone and all waitlistees, myself included, have found better schools for themselves and dont really care to continue to bash wash u.
honestly, i think most of the bashing was only because wash u was one of the first to release decisions and also cause no rejectees posted here at all... that's it.. good luck to all; admits and waitlistees...

or i'm 11 months early...

Allow me to be offensive...

This topic is like terri schivago, it's practically dead, but people still keep trying to insist it's alive. JUST LET IT DIE ALREADY.

(sorry, I watched the "Golden PSP" epsiode of south park again last night)
