WashU Information

Are there any current WashU students or parents of students who wouldn't mind an email conversation about WashU's academic, social, cultural and athletic life? I was just admitted as a transfer today and will send off my deposit by the coming Wednesday.

I also applied to Cornell and UT-Plan II Honors so if I am accepted into all three programs, I would like to have some basis for comparison. I know a great deal about Cornell and UT, but am mostly acquainted with WashU in a purely academic sense. I love the work of and have collaborated with two profs there, but beyond their work, I would like to know more about campus life.

Thanks!

I'd be happy to speak with you about life in WashU. In particular, since you are a Transfer Student, I can put you in touch with the Transfer Orientation Coordination from the Orientation Exec Board. He is an amazing guy who has been making moves to totally revamp transfer Orientation. If you'd like to speak with either he or I via email, just let me know and I'll make it happen.

Dearsiryes, as a transfer student, I too would love to talk with you! Feel free to PM me or use my messenger links to chat. I should be on most of today. Once again, congrats on the acceptance!
