WashU or NYU (stern)

I know there was a thread about this, but I just want to get more opinions...
I'm a transfer student that was accepted to both WashU and NYU.
I'm seriously in a dilemma because I don't which school to pick.
@ WashU, I plan to major in econ/finance, while @ NYU, I plan to do finance. Academic-wise, which seems to be better? I understand both schools are completely different (campus-wise). I've visited both and I love both of them. I'm from Hong Kong myself, so I enjoy the city life, but I also like the chill/gorgeous campus of WashU. In terms of financial aid, I didn't get any, so difference in cost would be irrelevant (assume difference in cost of living is negligible too). Also, how do the job/intern placements compare? I guess my point how would a econ/fin @ washu compare to a fin @ nyu? in terms of academics? job/intern placements? prestige (yeah, this is still a pretty big deal in Asia)?

thanks so much!

WashU is great but job placement stilll can't be beat for NYU Stern Finance. You'll still be able to land a good job at WashU and I personally think you'll have a better college experience. The only reason I would attend NYU Stern is if you really love NYC or you really want to work on Wall Street. Other than that, you'll be able to get just as much if not more out of WashU.

If you want to take an MBA degree in the future, then you should consider WashU seriously for your undergrad. Econ/Fin combination gives you a much better training. However, if you only want to get an Investment Bank job after your undergrad, then you have a somewhat better chance by going to Stern. Personally, I think WashU offers you a better undergrad education.
