I got the full Ervin (yay!) at WashU but also got 75% tuition at GU's SFS campus in Qatar. WashU offers the traditional American college experience in a comfortable setting with limited expenses whereas SFS provides 1:4 professor ratio, nearly 2,000 sq ft per student (dividing total size by enrollment) in this fall's new building, a Bachelors in Foreign Service not offered elsewhere, opportunity to spend junior year at DC's main campus, provides free service learning trips to conflicted zones (Israel/Palestine, Rwanda, Balkans). WashU doesn't have the same offerings in IR (I believe?) nor the experience in a Middle East setting (which may or may not be a bad thing). SFS Qatar doesn't have much of a social scene and would only visit family in the summer or maybe winter with such expensive travel.
Both campuses seem to have unlimited pools of money.
What do I do?
