washu vs. truman state

i was accepted to truman with a full ride and have a half tuition scholarship to washu.

i'm leaning towards washu because of
- flexibility of its programs & ability to double major
- sam fox
- beautiful campus
- alumni network?
- prestige? i'm considering computer science, and washu is not accredited for this major (is this important?). however, it does have more cs faculty than truman. any thoughts?
- five year bs/ms program
- discovery competition/entrepreneurial spirit
- quality of student body
- st. louis > kirksville.

why i hesitate to accept washu's offer
- full ride at truman
- okay campus
- really good dorms
- accepts more ap credits/potential early graduation

is washu worth the extra $100,000+?

There is a very large discrepancy between the academics of these two schools. If money is really tight, then I guess truman st would be the better option, but if you can afford two years of tuition I would highly recommend wash u.

Yes, washU is definitely worth the extra 100k. There is no comparison between the schools when it comes to academics or prestige. Only, go to truman if you cannot afford WashU. But if that’s the case, you’d qualify for need based FA. WashU no brainer.
