These two schools are probably my top two, and I have only heard great things about both.
Does anybody know which school offers a stronger pre-med experience? What are their respective admittance rates into med school?

You really can’t go wrong with either. In the medicine world, WashU will be much better known. I don’t think that matters a whole lot.

As far as prereq courses go: genchem here at Tufts is solid, genbio is so-so, algebra-based physics is solid, and I have heard anywhere from decent to atrocious for calculus-based physics and organic chemistry. I have heard that WashU is a much more intense place than Tufts is as far as the prereq courses go, but of course I have no way to verify that. There is plenty of opportunity to do research at both, but it might be a little easier to do it at WashU than Tufts–a lot of the biomedical research stuff is across Boston.

Did you get better financial aid at one?

I chose Tufts over WashU last year after getting into both. I would have been thrilled to go to WashU had I not gotten into Tufts. I think I made the right call. A friend of mine who made the exact opposite choice thinks he made the right call as well. It’s really about fit. Try to visit both again over the next month.
