WashU vs. University of Miami?

I am an upcoming freshman pre-med student, and as of now I'm choosing between the University of Miami and Washington University in St. Louis. I'm just looking for any sort of opinion, advice, thoughts, concerns-- basically anything that would help me in my decision.

Money is definitely not an issue but can play a factor. (I received almost $33,000 from Miami, $0 from WashU). I have visited both and like the campuses equally, although I like the WashU dorms and food more. But at the same time I like Miami weather and location more (I grew up in Tampa, FL so I'm definitely a Florida girl).

I'm interested in good research/internship opportunities, a good foundation for med school and definitely receiving acceptance into med school (biggest priority). I know Miami has the Medical Scholars Program sophomore year, but I'm not sure what the acceptance rate for that is. Also-- if anyone knows the statistics for med school acceptances from WashU and UMiami, please post them here. Thank you all so much!

Money, Weather, academics… Miami wins. If you are a good student, you will get accepted into Med School ;)

Save your cash, go to Miami.

WashU has a fantastic med school and a superb premed program and they give preference to their own grads. It would be be pretty hard to beat IF money is not an issue.
